Burke, Judy

An associate editor, Judy edits the Highlights fiction for advanced readers, and the "Flashbacks" feature. She also writes the features "Headwork," "Thinking," and "For Wee Folks."Judy, who joined the staff of Highlights in the summer of 1995 as an editorial intern, has edited a craft book, Look What You Can Make with Paper Bags, for Boyds Mills Press, and a children's journal called My Own Pages for 2000, 2001, and 2002.She is a summa cum laude graduate of Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, where she earned a bachelor's degree in ancient Greek.
