James Otis Thach
James Otis Thach has a penchant for rhyme that was inspired by his grandmother, who used to exchange funny little verses with him on birthdays and holidays. He attended Pomona College and studied educational therapy at California State University, Northridge. He also worked for a number of years in the entertainment industry. When not racking his brain trying to rhyme words like sauerkraut and purple, he runs a tutoriing company with his brother. A Child's Guide to Common Household Monsters is his first picture book. He lives in Los Angeles.
