Mitchell, Marianne
Formerly a bilingual elementary teacher, Marianne is a free-lance writer who has also taught Spanish at the University of Louisville. She holds both bachelor's and master's degrees in Spanish and has completed writing courses with the Institute of Children's Literature. To date, her articles and short stories have appeared in Guide, Skipping Stones, and Highlights.She has written several books for children, including the novels Firebug and Over the Waves and the picture books Gullywasher Gulch and Maya Moon/Dona Luna.Marianne was born and raised in Arizona, and currently lives in Tuscon.Who am I?
