Keyser, Samuel Jay

Samuel Jay Keyser is Professor Emeritus of Linguistics at MIT. In addition to writing many scholarly works, he is the author of a book of poems entitled Raising the Dead (Garden Street Press, 1993).The Pond God and Other Stories is his first book for children. Dr. Keyser plays trombone with Aardvark, an avant garde jazz orchestra, and the New Liberty Jazz Band, a dixieland band in the New Orleans tradition.
