Holtwijk, Ineke

Ineke Holtwijk is a correspondent in Latin America for leading Dutch newspapers and for the news on television for young people. She is based in Rio de Janeiro. Before she wrote this book, she spent a lot of time with a group of children who live in the streets. Alex, the main character of Asphalt Angels, is a real person and all the events in the book are based on real events.
