Barbara, an elementary-school teacher, has had twelve Take-Home Literacy Backpacks published. She earned a bachelor's degree from Fairfield University and a master's degree from Teachers College of Columbia University.Who am I? "I love the water----oceans, lakes, rivers---and am very fortunate to live near Long Island Sound. I enjoy walking, biking, and hiking, and am an avid bird watcher. I'm also fascinated by wolves and have had the good fortune to see some up close. My own `wolf', my German shepard, Mae, is my sweetheart. The other love of my life is writing songs, and playing the guitar and the piano."
