Farley loves being a sheep. But he dislikes sleeping outdoors. He never gets a good night's sleep because, if truth be told, he's afraid of the dark. His sleep improves when he discovers a cozy little house, where he can snooze to his heart's content. The only problem is that the house is a doghouse. Edna, the dog, is not happy. So she moves her house to the haystack, and the henhouse, and even up an oak tree. Wherever Edna moves her house, Farley finds it. What are Farley and Edna to do?

Reviews

"Beautifully illustrated."
     —The Reading Teacher

"The real fun of the tale lies in the expressions and gestures of the two main characters, the dog and the sheep. ...There is a lush, saturated quality to the digitally produced images which adds to the overall humor."
